Elle Cei Photography needed a new logo. Something that represented her photography: strong, feminine, & sexy.

A quick google search of ‘photography logo‘ will show you a recurring theme. Black and white logos, with a possible splash of color.

This is important for photographers as their logo is intended to be placed on many different types of photographs, many of them black & white.

A black & white logo design allows for the photography logo to be used as a watermark logo on hi-resolution photographs.

Another element that we believe is important for photographers is that the logo symbol itself stand alone well without the actual brand name.

Portsmouth Media came up with a couple of concepts for Elle, finally deciding the one you see here.
